This clicker or cricket is used as an aid in dog training today. Made in England today using the same original machines that were used to make the ones issued to soldiers in 1944, enabling them to identify friendly troops after they had landed behind enemy lines. Each model of this Original Clicker No. 470 comes with a certificate of authenticity from J. Hudson, the founder of Acme. Today, the clicker, which has a small hole for attaching to a lanyard, is used especially in dog training.
