The »Kirkton« Cotham tweed jacket is a robust, long-cut men's jacket in classic English style. It skilfully combines traditional elements with modernity and high functionality. The tweed comes from the traditional Lovat weaving mill in Scotland and belongs to the »Gamekeeper Tweeds« - a tweed that is extremely robust and traditionally worn by gamekeepers. The jacket offers plenty of storage space for cartridges and other hunting utensils with two patch bellows pockets. The incorporated Laksen CTX membrane is not only waterproof and breathable, but also noiseless, making it ideal for hunting.
The practical stand-up collar is contrasted with Steiner loden, offering optimal protection in wind and any weather. This functional jacket also has two fleece-lined slip pockets for protection against the cold, built-in wind cuffs on the sleeves and a warm quilted contrast lining with two zipped inner pockets. In addition, the penetration of moisture via the main zip is prevented by a separate button placket. A comfortable hunting jacket that defies the elements. The additional Teflon coating of the tweed fabric makes the jacket not only resistant to raindrops, but also to all kinds of dirt. The two tweed trimmings on the shoulders skilfully emphasise the sporty touch and at the same time offer additional comfort when carrying a rucksack or rifle. The first-class workmanship and the elegant look make the jacket a steadfast companion - whether on the hunt or as casual leisurewear.

    Laksen

In 1977, Laksen Sporting began producing quality clothing for hunting and fly fishing, and not least, handmade fly fishing rods, on a small scale in house. Everything was designed, manufactured and sold exclusively in Denmark. In 1979-1980 this changed rapidly, as Laksen Sporting was granted the first European license to manufacture clothing with waterproof Gore-Tex technology. Being one of the first brands to offer real waterproof garments to hunters and fly fishers in Europe, Laksen Sporting grew quickly and the export adventure started. Garments for hunting and shooting soon became the majority of their business and by the end of the 1990s the focus was solely on hunting and shooting. In 1999, they introduced the first lightweight and waterproof-breathable pure wool tweed products, which lead to extensive growth. Today, the continued passion for sporting adventures like shooting, stalking and hunting drives the employees of Laksen Sporting to develop excellent clothing and accessories for any kind of sporting situation in all thinkable weather conditions.
