Founded in 2017 in Denmark, the company chose the name Gateway1 to express the high functionality of the rubber boots under the toughest conditions in nature. The bison, often referred to as the buffalo and depicted in Native American style, was deliberately chosen as the logo - a symbol of strength and survival.
