From the Japanese Hiroaki Masui blacksmith workshop. A total of 32 layers form this impressive Suminagashi pattern around the core layer made of edge-holding VG-10 steel. The perfectly-sized handle with its soft structure is made of dark brown quince wood and is very comfortable to hold. The handle features a vulcanized fibre insert and a rosette-shaped mosaic pin. The rustproof blade is double-bevelled and has a hardness of 58 HRC.
