These fine, crunchy, mild salt flakes come from the Punjab Mountains in Pakistan. A brine made of high-purity primal salt and spring water is fed into an artificially created evaporation lake. Under the influence of sun and wind, a fine layer of salt forms on the surface. The resulting salt flakes are characterised by their high mineral content, high purity and mild salty aroma. They are harvested by hand and then dried. Ideal as a finish to steaks, salads, fish and seafood.
