The Oukoku-Ryu knives made of Super Gold 2, a powder metallurgy high-speed tool steel with a high carbon content, focus on aesthetics and quality. Each of these blades with exciting patterns is unique thanks to its hand forged Damascus structure. A total of 98 folded outer layers creates a blade with unparalleled depth and beauty. The combination of the handle, weight, balance and the extremely thin and sharp cutting edge, ensures enormous comfort when cutting. The handle is made of stabilised, vacuum-dyed poplar wood. Supplied in a gift box. Rustproof, hardness 62 HRC, double bevel.

Every knife is handmade and therefore unique. Ryusen Hamono was the first company ever to receive the title of »Dentouteki Kougeihin«, which is an award from the Japanese chamber of commerce and industry for traditionally manufactured products.
