Thousands of years of Urushi tradition, combined with an elegant blade to create a unique masterpiece. Each of these tangibly structured blades is unique with its handforged Damascus structure. The Hitachi ATS314 steel* core layer is sandwiched between a total of 62 folded stainless steel outer layers, creating a fascinating blade pattern. The octagonal magnolia wood handle has been refined with an Urushi varnish and impresses with its vermilion/black progression of colour. Rustproof, hardness 60 HRC, double bevel.
