Ladies Blazer, Irish Linen, Black Watch

This fitted frock coat is made of Irish linen in green-blue Black Watch check by Emblem Weavers. Cut to length, the blazer closes with three buttons and is equipped with diagonal flap pockets and a vent in the middle of the back. A piped pocket has been worked into the dark blue viscose lining, which reduces the natural tendency of the linen to crease. The cooling properties of the linen in combination with the twill weave, which lends the fabric a considerably smoother flow, offer very good wearing comfort.The tradition of manufacturing linen in Ireland, which dates back to the 17th century, is continued by only a few remaining weavers, of which Emblem Weavers is one. The high quality of Irish linen has always been particularly appreciated. Since there is no longer any local cultivation, the raw material used is mainly first-class, long-fibre flax from Belgium or northern France. The fibres are very homogeneous and thus, in addition to an elegant shine, a high tensile strength and durability are achieved.
