The high-tech waxed fabric for this comfortable, universal ladies jacket with leather collar and capped, comfortable sleeves is made of pure cotton and in Lancashire by the specialist for impregnated fabrics, British Millerain.In warm temperatures, the waxed fabric is still breathable and supple, and when temperatures drop, the material becomes harder and stronger, but is always wind- and water-repellent. The driest wax is used for this jacket. The natural character of the cotton is preserved.The sleeves and the upper half of the back of this versatile jacket are viscose lined. The year-round jacket is complemented by a quilted button-in lining with warming, highly functional wool padding (Lavalan) in the upper body and sleeve area and chequered Mehler Loden wool cloth at the bottom. The long side vents, which are elaborately bordered with fine cord in the quilted lining, offer freedom of movement. The slightly A-line shape lends this jacket an elegant appearance.A wide front flap covers the sturdy metal zipper from RiRi and makes it windproof. Above the right-hand large patch pocket with button there is a zipped pocket with leather piping.
